I am inherently suspicious of a leader who has too much power and not enough accountability. Leaders should exemplify balance, responsibility, accountability, and humility in their leadership. Do not give your allegiance blindly or without consideration. However, when you have made a decision to follow leadership – do so with your utmost. This will empower your leadership to lead even better, and that increase will be visited to your life and growth in Christ just the same. To all leaders out there: you’ll give an account to the One who is amazing. Stay right with the Lord.
