Psalm 33:10-11
The LORD foils the plans of the nations;
he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.
But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever,
the purposes of his heart through all generations.

No matter who your president is or what your government or leadership looks like – God has power over them. Throughout history God is in the business of setting up the story so that the purposes of His heart continue to stand. Babel, Egypt (Pharaoh), Israel, Rome); name your kingdom and it was God behind the downfall of nations that did not remember Him. It’s foolish to think that God has changed, or that the same thing does not hold true today. God is sovereign, and our future as a nation is in His hands. Pray for His mercy on your nation and for people's hearts to turn toward God.
