Perseverance

Hebrews 10:36
So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.

You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

Jesus believes in you. The richly rewarded individual will have lived by faith. You do not gain rewards from Christ by shrinking back from your faith. Perseverance is a critical stepping stone on the road to faith; perseverance then character, character then faith. (Romans 5:3-5).
